Valero Vision – Five new Texaco forecourts so far in 2021
Texaco has a rich heritage in Ireland and for Valero – one of the world’s largest independent refiners – the Irish market is an important part of its global fabric. In the May/June issue of IFCR there’s a full, in-depth interview with James Twohig, Valero’s director of operations for Ireland.
The company is particularly proud of the five new Texaco forecourts opened so far in 2021 – with further plans for more Texaco branded forecourts in the future.
Iconic brand
“The Texaco brand is iconic in Ireland,” James told IFCR. “Our company presence in Ireland goes back nearly one hundred years. With a high standard and quality store offering provided by the Service Station Operator and the strength of the Texaco brand on the canopy and the quality fuels on offer, we see the combined offering as inviting and compelling for the motorist.
“This is evident by the fact that five new service stations have joined the Texaco network so far this year.”
