Fuel pump handles measure the highest levels of contamination
A study of fuel pump handles in the USA has found some 71 per cent had high levels of contamination, enough to spread illness.
It was the highest percentage when tested against ATM buttons, escalator rails, public restroom handles and other surfaces*.
BP UK have introduced Wet Wipe Stations manufactured in BP Green with bespoke signage to selected BP managed forecourts in the UK.
