Top Loyalty Programme For Topaz
Topaz’s Play or Park has been named the top loyalty programme among fuel retailers according to Ireland’s first Loyalty Performance Index (LPI).
The LPI, which was created by Amárach Research and Chilli Pepper Marketing looks at how loyalty programmes are performing against each other in the retail industry and within their specific categories. It is the first ever independent report on loyalty programmes in Ireland.
Topaz, which only launched Play or Park last year, took top spot in the fuel retailer category, while it came in fourth in the overall retail sector. Other top performers included Tesco, Boots and Brown Thomas.
According to the findings, 64 per cent of Play or Park members pro-actively participate in the programme and actively redeem their awards at Topaz stations.
Paul Candon, Marketing and Corporate Services director at Topaz said the index re-enforced the feedback the company was getting on the ground.
“We’re delighted with these findings and indeed with the ongoing success of Play or Park. We wanted to reward our loyal customers and they told us they wanted something that was different, something that was interactive and a bit of fun. That’s what Play or Park is.”
