Lidl’s new Cork store to create 30 jobs

Lidl Ireland has announced the opening of a new store in Cork which will see the creation of 30 new jobs.

The store will also include a cafe which will see the creation of a further 10 jobs.

The company has lodged a planning application for the state-of-the-art store to be based in Blarney and is currently working with planners and architects to ensure the new development will have a positive impact on the local community.

The proposed store will support many local suppliers, including West Cork Distillers, who supply Lidl with award-winning whiskeys and gins.
