Freshii announces fresh franchises

Healthy eating fast food chain Freshii has announced new franchisee-run outlets in Dublin, Limerick and Belfast.

The company said it has plans to double its restaurant numbers in Ireland from six to at least 12 in the first six months of 2017.

Freshii’s first restaurant in Northern Ireland will be located in Donegall Square in the heart of Belfast; the Limerick restaurant will be located on Thomas Street, and Dublin’s newest restaurant will be in Smithfield Square, Dublin 7.

Green Eggs & Kale bowlFreshii is one of the fast-growing restaurant brands in the world, serving a healthy and customisable menu built around fresh ingredients. Since opening its first store in 2005, Freshii has grown to over 300 stores located across 85 cities in 20 countries.

The Freshii menu includes salads, hot bowls, burritos, healthy wraps, soups, fresh pressed juices, smoothies and frozen yogurt, served in “eco-friendly” environments.

Freshii Ireland franchise holders Dave O’Donoghue and Cormac Manning said they are excited the business is expanding quickly to new cities across Ireland.

“We plan to double the restaurant count in the coming months with new outlets across cities and towns in Ireland,” said Dave O’Donoghue, CEO Freshii Ireland.  “We are well on track to open 40-50 Freshiis within five years as part of our business plan.”

Some of Freshii’s best known local outlets are located in Dublin’s CHQ Building, M1 Applegreen at Lusk, Enfield West Applegreen, Mespil Road, Arnotts and Trinity College Dublin.
