Corrib Oil Texaco SPAR filling station officially opens in Mullingar

Corrib Oil Spar  in Mullingar has celebrated its official opening with a celebration attended by Corrib Oil management and staff.

The ribbon cutting at the Patrick Street store was performed by store manager Kieran Mangan and his team.

Music and entertainment was provided by Corvenieos Entertainment and some lucky people got to Spin the Wheel for great prizes such as Corrib Oil Gift Cards, hotel vouchers, a smart TV and more.

Children also enjoyed treats, face painting and a balloon artist.

Twenty people are currently employed at the store, which has become a firm favourite with locals.

Customers have a wide range of fresh food to choose from such as the award-winning Corrib Deli, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinners all prepared in-store.

There are delicious treats from Corrib Bakery, Insomnia takeaway tea and coffee and a Spar grocery convenience store.

The store boasts an attractive new-look fitout in the modern award-winning Spar store design.

The store is managed by Kieran Mangan while the Deli operation is under the remit of Joanne Charles.

According to Eugene Dalton of Corrib Oil: “The store is focused on establishing a strong grocery and food-to-go offering, along with our forecourt, it makes this store a convenient one-stop shop for local residents. We would like to thank the local community for their ongoing support.”

Corrib Oil originated in County Mayo and is fully Irish owned and west of Ireland managed. The first Corrib Oil Convenience store and service station opened its doors in Westport in 1991 and now Mullingar is its 33rd store. The company has built integrity, honesty, and loyalty with its customers and is growing from strength to strength, now employing in excess of 1000 people.
