Braeburn Café and Drive-Thru Opens in Navan Retail Park

New Braeburn café and drive-thru launches in Navan Retail Park, adding 20 new jobs to the local area
Braeburn Coffee, has officially opened its newest café and drive-thru in Navan Retail Park.
The opening of the café and drive-thru follows a €2 million investment by the roadside hospitality brand Applegreen that will create 20 new jobs.
Braeburn Navan Retail Park is the coffee brand’s eighth café and its third stand-alone café drive-thru location. It follows the first official Braeburn café and drive-thru location in Ashbourne, Co Meath, which opened in June 2023, and the more recent Braeburn café and drive-thru at Applegreen Rathcoole, which opened in April 2024.
Customers passing through the area and in the local community will now have the option to sit-in or drive thru and enjoy Braeburn’s signature food and beverage menu. The café will offer specialty coffee, tea and a range of signature drinks crafted by experienced baristas. A range of food products will also be available, including delicious breakfast staples such as acai and bretzel bagels, sweet treats, freshly baked pastries, signature chunkie cookies and gourmet lunch options with a premium placed on top-quality, locally sourced ingredients to ensure exceptional taste.

To celebrate the official launch of the café and drive-thru, on Friday, July 11th, customers will be able to get a taste of the exclusive Braeburn range, with complimentary warm chocolate chunkie cookies available with every purchase and canned iced coffees gifted while stocks last. Radio Nova will also join the celebrations, with Morning Glory hosts PJ Gallagher and Jim McCabe broadcasting their breakfast programme live from the café.
The drive-thru café is open seven days a week: Monday – Wednesday from 6am to 8pm; Thursday and Friday from 6am to 10pm; and Saturday and Sunday from 8am to 7pm. Braeburn coffee self-serve is also exclusively available on the go at 102 Applegreen stores nationwide.
Applegreen is one of Ireland’s leading retail brands. It opened its first service station in Ballyfermot in Dublin in 1992 and now operates almost 200 locations in the Irish market.
Applegreen also has a significant business overseas, with operations in Britain and the United States, and a total of more than 430 locations and more than 700 branded food offers across its global network.
Applegreen typically invests more than €30 million every year in the Irish market on new store openings, upgrades, and improvement, and has also been rolling out the market-leading Braeburn Coffee, which is now available in more than 100 locations nationwide, and eight Braeburn Cafés.
The Applegreen business currently employs over 16,000 people and has further plans for growth in its major markets. Its expansion plans are focused on acquiring and developing new sites in the markets in which it already operates, as well as upgrading and rebranding its existing locations.
The roadside hospitality brand also established a partnership with supermarket retailer Marks and Spencer in 2023, with 29 M&S “shop-in-shop” outlets now opened in Applegreen stores nationwide. Applegreen has plans to further expand its M&S Food network to 60 stores over the medium term.
