Tim Hortons announce UK and Ireland reopening

Tim Hortons®, the iconic Canadian coffee chain, has announced that it will reopen seven of their 25 U.K. and Ireland restaurants in a limited capacity on Friday 15 May. These Drive Thru Restaurants will only be open for customers using the drive thru lane and will service delivery in partnership with Deliveroo and Just Eat where available.

The brand took the decision to temporarily close all of their restaurants for the safety of employees and customers on March 23rd and recently began working through a potentially limited reopening plan, consulting with employees and trade bodies to ensure they do so responsibly.

The brand will only be opening drive thru lanes for customers and will service delivery orders in partnership with Deliveroo and Just Eat. Connswater Retail Park, Belfast and Glengormely, Northern Ireland are among the stores set to reopen with limited capacity.

Tim Hortons will be operating with much smaller teams but will endeavour to serve customers with a full menu including breakfast, lunch and evening meals, and a full range of donuts and Timbits.

At a minimum, these first seven restaurants will initially be open from 7am – 10pm, seven days a week.
