Ninth Plaza Group service station set to create 60 jobs in Loughrea

The Plaza Group is poised to launch its ninth service station in Loughrea, creating 60 jobs.

The Loughrea Service Station is due to open in the coming months and will add to the area’s food offerings with a wide variety of dining options.

The service station is currently being constructed on the Athenry Road in the town, adjacent to the Loughrea Hotel and Spa.

It will offer a wide variety of food offerings including Supermacs, Papa John’s, SuperSubs, Mac’s Place Deli, Moo Parlour, Barista as well as retail and fuel.

There will also be a Drive Thru facility for passing drivers and indoor seating for up to 90 diners.

The new service station development is the latest major development for the Plaza Group, which launched the Tuam N17 Plaza last month.

The Plaza Group is one of Ireland’s leading independent motorway and primary route services group. It was formed by the managing directors of Supermac’s, Pat and Úna McDonagh.

The company’s success is built on a unique menu, ideally suited to local tastes, using food and ingredients sourced locally wherever possible and enhanced by quality in every aspect of the preparation.
