Musgrave MarketPlace, Ireland’s leading wholesale supplier to foodservice, retail and SMEs today officially unveiled its newly revamped Galway branch to customers on Wednesday night (24th July 2019).
The €1.7 million upgrade of the Galway branch is the latest step in a €12.6m investment plan which Musgrave MarketPlace has undertaken to transform each branch into state-of-the-art Food Emporiums and improve their environmental performance, reducing their carbon footprint.
Speaking at the unveiling of the new Galway branch, Noel Keeley, Managing Director, Musgrave Whole Sale Partners, said: “Today I am delighted to open our newly refurbished and revamped Galway branch. We have now upgraded seven branches to our Food Emporium format across Ireland, with Galway being the latest.
“Opening these upgraded branches and improving our customer experience is about showing leadership in our space and offering our customers moments of food inspiration.
“The business of food and drink is constantly evolving and, as a business, we need to ensure that we continue to innovate and respond to growing trends that impact our customers’ needs.”
Noel continued: “This investment is testament to our commitment to delivering unrivalled quality and value to our customers and ensuring we keep our brand promise of ‘first for value, first for choice and first for service’.
“We have our ear to the ground and finger on the pulse to gauge consumer demand and the products they want, and we look forward to bringing a new branch layout, a greater range of products and the advice of in-branch experts to our customers in Galway and the surrounding areas.”
