
Anderton currently serves as global SVP of strategy and transformation at global convenience giant Alimentation Couche-Tard (ACT), which operates the Circle-K chain in Ireland. He joined ACT in 2015 following the acquisition of Topaz in Ireland, where he served as CFO and CEO, and subsequently as senior vice president of operations in Europe.
Previously, he held senior management positions with Primark and Telefonica O2, having qualified as a chartered accountant with KPMG.

Anderton will join Musgrave Group on 1st May, before formally taking over the CEO role at the end of the year.
Hartery thanked Keeley for his contribution to the business and added: “During his 22 years with the business, Noel has held many roles. He became CEO in 2020 and navigated his first few months as CEO exceptionally well, considering the immense challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
“The board and I would like to acknowledge the role Noel played in leading the business, driving growth across all our brands, strengthening the culture of our business, and setting us up for substantive growth and transformation in the years ahead. We wish him the very best for his retirement.”
