Musgrave appoints Luke Hanlon as Managing Director of SuperValu and Centra
Luke Hanlon has been appointed Managing Director of SuperValu and Centra.
Owned by the Musgrave Group, they are among Ireland’s best known grocery retail and convenience brands.
Mr Hanlon had been leading the SuperValu and Centra business on an interim basis since March this year and will take up the role with immediate effect.
He has been with Musgraves for over two decades and was most recently the group’s Chief Supply Chain Officer.
He held senior operational roles with Kerry Group before joining Musgraves in 2003 as an Operations Manager.
“Having led the business on an interim basis for several months, Luke is strongly positioned to continue his leadership of SuperValu and Centra, working closely with our valued colleagues and committed retail partners across the country,” Musgrave CEO Noel Keeley said.
“It is a great source of pride for me to lead SuperValu and Centra, two iconic Irish brands at what is an exciting time for the retail sector,” Mr Hanlon said on his appointment.
SuperValu and Centra between them employ 27,550 people across around 720 stores countrywide.
