M&S and Applegreen announce new Click and Collect service

Marks & Spencer and Applegreen have announced a pilot of M&S Click & Collect in four Applegreen stores, in Celbridge, Co. Kildare, Kinsealy, Co. Dublin, Mountgorry, Co. Dublin and at the M11 service at Cullenmore, Co. Wicklow.

Shoppers will now have the option to collect orders placed online at M&S.ie free of charge at any one of the four trial Applegreen locations. This latest initiative between M&S and Applegreen represents Ireland’s first roadside retailer click and collect service from a major retailer.

The service will be available for all items across the M&S clothing as well as selected Home and Beauty ranges.

The roll-out follows the successful launch in recent months of M&S food at five Applegreen stores across Ireland, which are now stocking the very best of M&S food. M&S products, including fresh fruit, sandwiches, salads and dinner for tonight are available at all four Click and Collect locations announced today.

Commenting on the launch of the M&S Click and Collect service at the Applegreen locations, Eddie Murphy, Trading Director, Ireland at Marks & Spencer, said: “Building on our successful partnership with Applegreen, we are delighted to add this additional service free of charge for our Irish customers. Our Click and Collect service continues to grow in popularity.

“We are constantly innovating and working hard at M&S to make our services as accessible and convenient as possible – to bring our great quality ranges to as many people as we can. Our focus has always been on quality, and now we’re putting a huge emphasis on expanding our footprint and increasing the channels that our customers can use to shop with us.”

Applegreen Ireland Managing Director Fiona Mathews said: “This is the next phase of our partnership with M&S, which has been well received by our customers to date. Constantly offering more choice is key to Applegreen’ s operations, and we are confident that this new Click and Collect service will provide something new to the market that customers from both Applegreen and M&S will really love.”
