BWG Retail Brands Nominated for Several Irish Sponsorship Awards

BWG retail brands have been nominated in several categories for the Irish Sponsorship Awards – set to take place at the Crowne Plaza Santry on September 26th.

Four of its retail brands making it through to the finals.

Spar has been shortlisted in two categories for the Spar 60th Anniversary Community Fund programme. The Irish Sponsorship Awards has recognised the fund in the categories of Best Sports Team or Athlete Sponsorship and Best Societal Sponsorship.

Eurospar has been shortlisted in three categories for the Junk Kouture sponsorship – described as ‘the world’s largest sustainable fashion competition for young people.’ Eurospar is nominated in the Best Arts and Cultural Sponsorship, Best Multi-Platform Sponsorship, and Best Societal Sponsorship.

The awards aim to recognise and reward the brands, rightsholders, agencies and media owners who play a crucial role in the delivery of world-class sponsorship programmes executed in Ireland.

Mace is shortlisted for Best Sports Team or Athlete Sponsorship and Best Use of Social Media for its Mace Right Options – Coach Johnny campaign with Johnny Sexton.

Londis is shortlisted in the Best TV Broadcast Sponsorship for Ireland’s Fittest Family.
