The Gala Retail Facebook page has entered 2019 on a high, following a huge Facebook giveaway which deliver an impressive increase in page likes and engagement rates bringing the Gala Facebook audience to almost 175,000.
Launched in December, the competition consisted of five separate posts and questions and invited fans of the Gala Retail Facebook page to answer the questions and tag two friends, to be in with a chance of winning a deluxe shopping trip for three to New York City. A finalist was picked from each set of questions to enter the final draw.
With a prize value of €5,000 the competition reached more than 58,000 social media users and generated over 8,000 entries with the lucky winner being announced as Patricia Kelly and her two friends Louise McGroarty and Caroline Kelly.
Gala Retail continue to place an emphasis on the Group’s social media presence, using these platforms to deliver news on in-store promotions and offers to customers, as well as competitions and giveaways. Most recently, the Group has just launched an Instagram account joining its Facebook and Twitter accounts as another channel to communicate to and engage with Gala Retail customers.
