Celebrating 50 Years of the Camogie Leagues

As Centra begins a new four‑year partnership with the Camogie Association, both partners share a clear ambition to elevate the sport, empower its athletes and inspire the next generation on and off the pitch.

The launch took place outside Monaghan’s Centra, on Raven Terrace in the heart of Galway city, set against a vibrant mural of Galvia, the original Galway Girl, daughter of the mythical King Breasal whose story gives Galway its name. The launch was attended by Camogie stars Rachael Trainor (Armagh), Aisling Maher (Dublin), Clodagh Tynan (Laois), Laura Hayes (Cork) and Galway All‑Ireland winner Niamh Mallon.
