Enhancements part of ongoing investment in customer experience across Maxol’s Irish network

Maxol has completed an upgrade of its Ballinrea Service Station in, Co. Cork, following a €120,000 investment aimed at enhancing the customer experience and modernising the site.

The investment focused on refurbishing the shop and upgrading the forecourt signage, as well as improving the internal layout and customer facilities. The site now features Maxol’s latest signature ROSA Coffee, Maxol Deli, convenience store, and an in-store bakery, offering a wide selection of quality food and drink options.

Commenting on the upgrade, Shane Cantillon, licensee of Maxol Ballinrea, said: “We’ve been part of Maxol for over 15 years and proudly serving the community in Ballinrea and the surrounding area for more than five, and we really are part of the fabric of this locality. Many of our customers are familiar faces, we know them by name so it’s really important to us that we continue to offer them the best possible experience. The refreshed look and new additions like Maxol Deli, bakery and ROSA Coffee are already getting fantastic feedback, and we’re excited to welcome both regulars and new customers through the doors.”

Brian Donaldson, CEO of The Maxol Group, added: “This investment in Ballinrea reflects our commitment to continually improving our network and ensuring our service stations meet the everyday needs of our customers. It’s part of a wider programme of investment across Ireland and we’re pleased to bring these enhancements to the Cork store, where our Iicensee, Shane Cantillon, together with his team, deliver best in class customer service.”

The Ballinrea upgrade forms part of The Maxol Group’s nationwide investment programme, focused on creating more convenience-led destinations for customers.
