As part of its strong community focus Inver has installed bottle and can collection bins at its Bansha Road and Limerick Road forecourts in Tipperary. Customers can deposit eligible Re-turn containers in the bins, which a third-party collection partner empties processes through the Re-turn scheme, with the proceeds donated to the to the Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre.

Circle of Friends is a cancer support centre serving Tipperary and the surrounding towns and villages. It provides emotional support and wellbeing services, alongside complementary, educational and group activities, for people affected by cancer and their families and friends.

“We are always looking for opportunities to make a positive contribution in the communities where we operate. Circle of Friends is a fantastic local resource, and we hope our customers will join us in raising awareness and funds for the centre through the Re-turn collection at Inver Bansha Road and Limerick Road,” said Niamh Drummond, Area Manager at Inver.

“Circle of Friends is here to offer people affected by cancer a place to connect, find support and take part in activities that can benefit their wellbeing. Inver’s collection will help us continue this work, and we’re delighted that customers can be part of it,” said Jennifer Jones, founder of the Circle of Friends Cancer Support Centre in Tipperary Town.

Inver plans to expand this initiative at other company-operated stores, with proceeds supporting local organisations.
