The Food Reformulation Task Force, a partnership between Healthy Ireland and the Food Safety Authority of Ireland, hosted “Pathways and Progress: Achievements in Food Reformulation” at the Convention Centre, Dublin on Friday 6th December. Bringing together food manufacturers, retailers, the out-of-home food service sector and those with an interest in reformulation, the event showcased the collaborative efforts to advance healthier, sustainable food systems in Ireland.

The event included an update from the Food Reformulation Task Force by Sinead O’Mahony, Food Reformulation Task Force Manager, Food Safety Authority of Ireland and an opening address from Healthy Ireland by Catherine Curran, Health and Wellbeing Programme, Department of Health. It also included case studies from industry leaders on progress to date and how the industry is advancing reformulation and an overview on national supports available from Teagasc and Enterprise Ireland to advance reformulation
