US burger chain seeking franchisees as they eye up NI expansion
US fast food chain as Carl’s Jr have announced that they are seeking franchisees as they expand into the UK and Ireland, Belfast Live has reported.
The chain which was launched in 1941 as Carl’s Drive-In Barbecue first expanded outside of the US in 2011 opening an outlet in Canada.
In the last six years, Carl’s Jr. has doubled its growth, taking its international footprint to over 1,000 restaurants in 40 countries, including mainland Europe.
Signature menu items include the Western Bacon Cheeseburger, the Super Star hamburger and their latest innovation, the Beyond Famous Star with Cheese.
Other favourites include hand-breaded Chicken Tenders, made from scratch Biscuits, charbroiled chicken sandwiches and hand-scooped Ice Cream Shakes and Malts.
