The future of convenience is in Dublin next week

The future of convenience is in Dublin next week, as the 2023 NACS Convenience Summit for Europe takes place from May 30th to June 1st at the InterContinental Dublin in Ireland.

The major event for the convenience sector will include presentations from thought leaders delivered in an immersive learning environment with plenty of opportunities to network and share experiences.

A complete package of expert-led store tours showing exceptional convenience retailing will be highlights of the 2023 NACS Convenience Summit Europe, from Tuesday 30 May to Thursday 1 June at the Intercontinental Dublin in Dublin, Ireland.

The programme will explore the market trends spurring growth in the region and around the globe. More than 130 senior leaders from top retailers and manufacturing companies from 20-plus countries will learn how the retail shopping experience is evolving to meet new consumer demand for omnichannel experiences, hard discounts, food-to-go and food-for-later meal options.

The organisers have said that Dublin is the site of the 2023 Convenience Summit Europe because it provides the most unique examples of exceptional convenience foodservice retailing, perhaps in the entire world. “You will have a chance to visit 16 stores that showcase world-class retailing and hear from the visionaries who built these brands.”

The programme begins on the morning of 30 May with expert-led bus and walking tours at sites from global brands like Circle K, Spar and Texaco, local giants like Maxol, Centra and Avoca, as well as drawing inspiration from local single-store heroes.

Participants will learn how to leverage the latest foodservice strategies to sell fresh, immediate consumption using high-quality ingredients in a competitive market. The store tours will end with a welcome reception, where delegates can continue networking and sharing ideas and discussing trends with other forward-thinking executives and industry leaders.

The Convenience Summit Europe programme is designed to experience exceptional retailing onthe first day before exploring ideas that will define the future of convenience. The topics to be covered on 31 May and 1 June are those top of mind with businesses worldwide and will be led by experts in the field. They include:
