SPAR makes a Big Deal with launch of all-new Meal Deal selection

Some of Northern Ireland’s finest local producers are part of a selection of new Meal Deal products that will be available as part of SPAR and EUROSPAR’s Big Deal initiative over the next three weeks (21st September – 11th October).

Not only is the deal providing a host of quality and top tier taste, but incredible value with a main course and a dessert that will serve three people, for just £8.

The main meals on offer are delicious recipes using local ingredients that have been passed down for generations at Cloughbane Farm in County Tyrone, including Beef Lasagna, Chicken & Broccoli Bake and Cottage Pie – family favourites that are perfect for mid-week meals.

Desserts have been made using quality ingredients and skilled craftmanship developed throughout decades of baking expertise from the makers at Davison’s Simply Puddings in County Armagh. The six desserts on offer are apple crumble, chocolate brownie and sticky toffee pudding, each delivering rich, luxurious flavour in every bite.

Ashley Hillary from SPAR NI says the selections are top sellers in store, and shoppers can expect to save up to 20% when purchasing together with the Meal Deal in-store.

“This is the perfect time of year for us to offer our shoppers a simple yet delicious option for tonight’s tea. Our meals are the ultimate comfort food for Autumn evenings, and some of our shoppers’ favourites to pick up for tonight’s tea, providing minimal fuss and maximum flavour, at value-led prices.

Earlier this year, SPAR launched its all-new own brand range, with a host of fresh products including eggs, milk, butter, yoghurts, cheese, pizza, deli favourites and breads, all sourced from trusted local farmers and producers.

The £8 Meal Deal begins starts Monday 21st September) and runs until Sunday 11th October.
