Krispy Kreme’s first stand-alone Hotlight store to open in Dublin

The wait is nearly over as Dublin city centre welcomes a brand-new Krispy Kreme store next month.

Based in the heart of the city centre, the stand-alone store will be the capital’s flagship and its full-glass frontage will allow Krispy Kreme fans and passers-by to see the production of its mouth-watering doughnuts from the outside!

Krispy Kreme will be heating up Dublin City Centre as it welcomes its first stand-alone Hotlight store providing Dubliners and visitors, not just the world’s most awesome doughnuts but a joy-filled doughnut experience that they will never forget! Customers can see, smell, and buy delicious hot Original Glazed ®, (OG’s) doughnuts, fresh off the line just moments after they have been made!

With extended Hotlight hours the new store means fans can also experience the magic live, with the OG’s passing along the famous line and through the iconic, mouth-watering glaze waterfall. Customers will also get to try the latest limited-edition ranges and brand favourites such as Chocolate Sprinkles, Lotus Biscoff, Chocolate Dreamcake, Glazed Raspberry and Nutty Chocolatta.

Located in the city’s iconic Central Plaza. this is Krispy Kreme’s first store in the centre of the city, situated at the popular pedestrian walkway linking Dame Street to Temple Bar. Krispy Kreme fans can enjoy their favourite doughnut and a coffee while people watching in Dublin’s bustling city.

There will also be lots of surprises and joy-filled activities as the store throws open its doors at 7am on the 18th of May . The Central Plaza launch brings the Krispy Kreme store count to four locations across Dublin including Blanchardstown, Swords and Dundrum.

Declan Foley, Krispy Kreme Country Manager for Ireland, said: “There was a huge reaction to our previous store openings in Blanchardstown and Swords Pavilions with people even queuing overnight to be the first through the doors. This time around we are expecting an even bigger buzz as we open our first stand-alone hot light store in Dublin city centre. There will be lots of fun and surprises on opening day so get there early and join in the Krispy Kreme joy. The first 300 people will be in for a treat!”
