Global leaders to feature at Ireland’s Convenience Retailer Summit

Global-leaders in the world of modern retail are to feature in this September’s Ireland’s Convenience Retailer Summit, with the full line-up set to be revealed this week.

Ireland’s Convenience Retailer Summit will inspire and motivate everyone in the local retail industry when it takes place in the Clayton on Burlington Road, Dublin, on September 6.

The sensational line-up of speakers being released this week has now been finalised and features some of the most impressive retail brains in the world.

Already, the event organisers have revealed leading Irish business figure Ibec CEO Danny McCoy will be just one of the speakers taking part in the event.

And he will be joined throughout the day with experts in convenience retail drawn from the US, Canada, Europe and closer to home.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘The Future of Convenience’, and this subject will be explored with cutting-edge presentations covering a range of material essential to retailers of all sizes and sectors. The topics being discussed will include digital retail, brand development, customer service, and team motivation, with a number of surprises thrown in.

Excitement is building for the 6 September event, with organisers sure the incredible line-up will set new standards for the Irish industry.

“There are a number of incredibly exciting speakers drawn from the highest level of US and Canadian retailing,” said event organiser and Ireland’s Forecourt & Convenience Retailer publisher, Bill Penton.

The Summit involves three strands, including an inspiring conference, an innovative Trade Exhibition, and the annual Ireland’s Forecourt & Convenience Retailer Awards.

Some 500 delegates are expected to attend, including convenience retail group directors, managers, supervisors, independent owners and dealers, convenience retailers, senior food service staff, and a range of people from food manufacturing to those involved in the café and deli industries.
