Aldi Ireland extends fast-track payments for over 200 Irish suppliers

Aldi has announced that it will extend its fast track payments to over 200 Irish suppliers until the end of 2020.

In March, the discount supermarket reduced its payment terms for all suppliers that had transactions up to €1 million annually.

Aldi has announced that it will now extend its temporary shorter payment terms to small and medium suppliers.

In a statement the retailer said it hoped the move would “further help its supply base impacted by Covid-19, ensuring they get paid as quickly as possible.”
