Ireland’s gold-standard food and hospitality champions were celebrated recently as the winners of the Georgina Campbell Irish Food & Hospitality Awards 2026 were announced at a gala lunch in Dublin.

Now in their fourth decade, these are the longest-running awards of their kind in Ireland. Established by food & hospitality writer Georgina Campbell, they recognise excellence across the country, with winners selected through independent, year-round assessments by a team of experts.  Businesses cannot enter themselves, ensuring the awards remain focused on genuine quality.

The prestigious awards ceremony featured an engaging panel discussion with special guest Francis Brennan, exploring life after The Park. One of Ireland’s best-known hoteliers, Brennan said: “These awards matter because they shine a light on the people and produce setting the standard for excellence. But they also inspire others to raise their own standards and remind us all of what great Irish food and hospitality are all about,” he said.

Connecting people with quality

The Bord Bia-sponsored award Best Supporter of Irish Food & Drinks Producers was presented to The Station House Hotel with Maureen Gahan, Foodservice Specialist at Bord Bia saying: “Bord Bia is delighted to sponsor the Best Supporter of Irish Food & Drink Producers award and to recognise The Station House Hotel in Kilmessan, Co. Meath as this year’s very deserving winner. Their commitment to working with local and Irish suppliers is evident and they do a terrific job of sharing this information with their customers through both their website and menus.  Businesses like The Station House Hotel play an important role in connecting people with the quality, diversity and provenance of Irish food and drink, while supporting the producers and suppliers who are central to Ireland’s food story.”
