Applegreen to Open New €15m Naas Ball Service Area on Tuesday, September 29

 

  • Popeyes, Taco Bell, M&S Food, Crafted Kitchen & Deli & Braeburn Coffee all located onsite
  • New site located at Junction 9 on M7 beside the Naas Ball

Applegreen will open its new €15 million roadside service area close to the Naas Ball at Junction 9 on the M7 at 9.30am on Tuesday, September 29.

The Naas site, which is creating 150 new jobs, is a state-of-the-art facility that will initially include Popeyes and Taco Bell outlets, M&S Food, Crafted Kitchen & Deli, Braeburn Coffee, and an Applegreen forecourt and convenience store. The Popeyes outlet in Naas will be the first Popeyes Drive-Thru in the Republic of Ireland.

Applegreen will open additional drive-thru brand at the new Naas site in the coming months.

The site will also have eight Applegreen Fast Charge ultra-fast EV chargers with a total of 16 charging points, and a separate truck stop for HGV fuelling.

“We are delighted to announce that our new service area in Naas will open on September 29 and we look forward to welcoming customers to the site, which is conveniently located at Junction 9 on the M7, close to the Naas Ball,” said Seamus Stapleton, Managing Director of Applegreen’s Republic of Ireland business.

Naas is the second major new service area that Applegreen has opened in Ireland in the past 12 months. Last September, it launched a new €15 million site at Junction 6 on the M3 in Dunshaughlin, Co Meath.

There will be a number of special offers for customers when the new Naas site opens at 9.30am on September 29.

As part of the opening day excitement, fried chicken fans will be in with a chance of bagging some tasty Popeyes prizes, including:

  • Free Chicken Sandwiches for a year for the first 3 customers on foot*
  • Free Chicken Sandwich for the first 100 customers* 
  • Free exclusive Popeyes® merchandise for the first 50 customers in the queue*.

Popeyes will also have entertainment for customers on the opening day, with a brass band onsite in the morning and a DJ in the afternoon.

Taco Bell is also offering customers at the new Naas outlet a series of hot and spicy prizes:

  • Free Burrito meals for a year for the first 3 customers* 
  • Free Taco for the first 100 customers
  • Free Taco Bell merchandise for the first 50 customers.

Over the past 12 months, Applegreen has introduced Popeyes and Taco Bell to its Irish operations. Applegreen has also continued to expand the reach of its partnership with M&S Food, which is now available at 43 Applegreen locations, and is also growing both its Braeburn Coffee brand and its Crafted Kitchen & Deli offer.

Crafted Kitchen & Deli is celebrating its first day of operations in Naas with the following offers:

  • Free Full Irish Breakfast for the first 10 customers
  • Food sampling throughout the day.

 

Applegreen’s newly redeveloped facility in Lusk North, on the M1. The site is
home to Dublin’s first Taco Bell alongside a brand new Braeburn Café, M&S Shop, Crafted Kitchen & Deli and an Applegreen convenience store.
