Sharkey’s Spar Express in Tuam sells winning Lotto ticket – but winner yet to come forward
On Friday, April 4th, Sharkey’s Spar Express on Bishop Street in Tuam, Co Galway sold a winning Lotto ticket – but the winner is still AWOL!
As the mystery winner has yet to come forward, the National Lottery issued an appeal for all players to carefully check their numbers.
The hunt continues to find Ireland’s latest big Lotto winner, who came remarkably close to taking home the jackpot prize of €2,671,887 in Saturday night’s draw. They narrowly missed out on the top prize, but the lucky player still secured a hefty €45,758 by matching five of the six numbers, plus the bonus. The winning combination was 8, 14, 18, 28, 38 40 and bonus 42.
National Lottery Spokesperson Emma Monaghan said: “If you’re our Galway winner, make sure to contact our Prize Claims team as soon as possible!”
The National Lottery is urging players in this area to check their tickets carefully and if you’re holding the winner, contact its claims team on 1800 666 222 or email claims@lottery.ie to arrange the collection of your prize.
