This concept was introduced into Ireland in 2013 with the first machine being installed in Courtown, Co Wexford. The Revolution laundrette is not your traditional laundry service with limited opening hours and high costs, its available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week at a competitive price. This service is ideal for the modern busy family of today where visiting the launderette during normal working hours is not always convenient.
So what makes the Revolution different? The washing cycle is 30 minutes in both the 18kg or 8kg units and is faster than your domestic washing machine. The vend price includes the detergent which is dispensed automatically in each wash cycle. The machine has a large capacity dryer, which is ideal for drying heavy loads and or clothes in the worst of weather. The drying time starts from 15 minutes depending on the load capacity.
