Junction 14 Is King Of The Forecourts… Again!

The ninth annual IFCR Awards were a huge success tonight!

More than 350 guests were present in the Ballsbridge Hotel, Dublin, to see leading Irish forecourt site, Junction 14 at Mayfield in Co Kildare collect the title of Forecourt Retailer of the Year for the third consecutive year during Ireland’s Forecourt & Convenience Retailer (IFCR) Awards 2014.

And in what turned out to be a double celebration for the multi-award-winning business, its long-serving manager, Gavin Moran, was named Store Manager of the Year.

It was a memorable night too, for Maxol chief executive, Tom Noonan, who attended the event in person to collect the inaugural Lifetime Achievement Award. Mr Noonan, who joined Maxol 35 years ago as a personnel manager, accepted the accolade in person from the awards host, Irish radio and television presenter, Miriam O’Callaghan.

Now in their ninth year, the Ireland’s Forecourt & Convenience Retailer Awards are recognised as the only specialist event of their kind for the forecourt industry on the island. For that reason, each year, they attract significant interest across all aspects of the trade and enjoy considerable ongoing investment from some of the country’s biggest brands including Topaz, Maxol, Top, Applegreen, BWG and Campus.

Thanks to all who took part finalists, winners, sponsors and our charity partner the Irish Grocers Benevolent Fund who you all helped to raise €2737.50 on the night.
