Save the date for Summit 2016

Fuel and convenience retailers are being urged to save September 15 in their diaries, as preparations enter their final stages for one of the Irish industry’s biggest ever events.

The Forecourt & Convenience Summit 2016 will take place on September 15 at the Doubletree by Hilton Hotel in Dublin, representing a huge opportunity for independent retailers and those in the neighbourhood, convenience and forecourt sectors.

This ground-breaking summit will include a conference featuring a line-up of inspirational local and international speakers, with over 450 delegates expected to attend.

Carrying the themes of inspiration, innovation and insight, the day will include a focussed trade exhibition featuring some of the world’s leading manufacturers and service providers.

The day concludes with the annual Ireland’s Forecourt & Convenience Retailer Awards 2016, where the stars of the industry assemble in a celebration of excellence for Ireland’s forecourt and retail sector.

Taking place from 8am to 4.30pm, the trade exhibition is essential for proprietors, managers, head office executives, buyers and decision-makers from the retail industry throughout Ireland. Key themes will include neighbourhood, convenience and forecourt retailing, with the event featuring key thinkers from the world of marketing, product innovation, and FMCG.

Only 30 select companies will be exhibiting at the event, as the Summit focuses on delivering targeted solutions that will provide real value.

The Forecourt & Convenience Summit 2016 is a highly-specialised event for forward-thinking retailers, and will present a golden opportunity to mingle with the industry’s aspirational leaders, and build contacts and partnerships that will lay the foundations for a bright future.

“This will be an event on a different magnitude than seen thus far in the domestic fuel retail and convenience sector. It’s a huge opportunity for everyone in the industry, and will be unrivalled for its scope and content,” said organiser and IF&CR publisher Bill Penton.
